Account data: username, email address, and a securely hashed password (we never store plaintext passwords). Optional profile data you choose to add: display name, bio, avatar, and social links (Discord/YouTube/X).
Content you publish: scripts, comments, ratings, and collections.
Security data: your IP address, recorded when you register, log in, or receive a moderation action. IPs are used to enforce network-level bans against ban evasion and are not shared or sold.
Service data: timestamps of activity (uploads, comments, quest progress) needed for features like daily quests and leaderboards.
To operate the platform: accounts, uploads, comments, notifications, quests, badges, collections, and the Partnership Program.
To keep ScriptBlock safe: automated AI moderation of uploads, reports, usernames, bios, comments and partner statements; staff review queues; warnings, suspensions, bans and IP blocks; human verification challenges.
To communicate service information: notifications about your scripts, moderation decisions, partnership applications, and replies to support tickets. We do not send marketing email.
Content you submit — including upload code snippets, comments, usernames, bios, reports, and partner statements — may be sent to a third-party AI provider (Groq) for automated safety screening. This processing evaluates text/code for rule violations only.
Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare (Pages, Workers, D1 database). Support-ticket emails are delivered through Resend when email delivery is enabled.
We never sell your personal information.
We store one item in your browser's local storage: sb_token, your login session token. No advertising or tracking cookies are used. Human verification uses our own challenge system rather than third-party trackers.
Account data is kept while your account exists. If you want your account deleted, contact support from your registered email; we will remove your account and personal fields. Scripts and public comments may be retained in anonymised form to keep community features working.
You can access and edit most of your data (profile, socials, bio) directly in Settings at any time.
ScriptBlock is not directed at children under 13, consistent with Roblox's own minimum age requirements. If we learn an account belongs to a child under 13, we will delete it.
Material changes will be announced on the site with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
